The Organizing Committee is pleased to invite you to the 3rd World Round Robin Seminar (WRRS 2010) witch will be held from March 21st to 23rd, 2010, at University Montpellier 2, in Montpellier, France.

In order to fight against the greenhouse effect and to reduce global warming of the world, this seminar focuses on future prospects for the efficient utilization of phase diagrams for designing, characterization and synthesis of energy conservation materials, and energy saving manufacturing processes in the steel industry. WRRS 2010 will provide an international forum for experimentalists and theoreticians in the field of phase diagrams and phase transformations relative to these problems.

Phase diagrams, phase stabilities, thermodynamic databases and synergy effects on phase transformations will be presented and discussed by lecturers recommended by APDIC. Particular emphasis will be placed on solid oxide fuel cells, Li-ion batteries, hydrogen-related materials, thermoelectrics, photovoltaics, materials for nuclear energy production, and energy savings in the steel and cement industries. Contributions on advances in experimental, theoretical and computational developments in these domains are welcome from attendees.
